audigy and firewire

hi all

just want to ask : i recive an audigy1 with the hoontech digital add on in the next days and i want asking what about the firewire interface on this card ?
my card at the moment is a live! value using the kx driver on w98.
can i change the card to the audigy1 and reinstall the kx driver ?

well at least for win98se and up, windows will (should) detect the firewire and install driver for firewire from the win-install cd.

not sure about plain win98 and lower.

edit: Win installs - 1394 Bus Controler, and also PCI OHCI Compliant 1394 Host Controler. Other than win98se, maybe the drivers named somewhat diff?
