analog 5.1 system vs SB Live!

I think this might be an old question but im too lazy right now to search about within the entire forum.
But the thing is that i have a 5.1 speaker, SWoofer system to work with a SB Live! 5.1 (CT4870) SC through KX project driver.
The 5.1 system have 6 input jacks section for 5.1 input(3 red, 3 white, 1 pair frontal, 1 pair rear, 1 pair for center and SWoof ) , and 2 chnls for stereo input.
I´ve 3 cables (1 stereo plug to connect to SBLive jack output, and a white/red pair to connect to 5.1 system, each).
I´ve tried every thing on the Souncard and KX driver to configure that output (AC97,etc), i´ve read all the user´s guide of the Kx project help (there´s no a step by step guidance, what a sh...

) , i can´t get the independent sound of every channel, no sound on the center speaker, and Swoofer (don´t know how to connect them to the Sound Card, although the Kx driver and windows HWare configuration to work in 5.1).
The sound card, i know, has 3 out puts, 1 analog, 1 digital, 1 analog/digital, but how do they work to get an analog 5.1 output? i don´t know... PLEASE HELP!

you set Surrounder in kX DSP to use 5.1 speakers.??

Play with settings in there - like 'Use Subwoofer Output'', and 'surround mode' (should be set to OFF - so surrounder wont upconvert stereo to 5.1)

Sorry, but IIRC, CT4870 is not a Live! 5.1. It has only 2 stereo outputs.

Hmm - this would support that statement...

So, yes - *discreet* 4.0 is all you could get (a sub-woofer that is supplied its signal from the FRONT outputs, is another thing) - it is after all just a user review. So.... Id wager Russ is correct.

Also, the CT4870 is identified as "Sound Blaster Live! Value HP / NEC" (not Live! 5.1) on the Creative Labs Sound Blaster product list.

I kX installed the software without problems.

The only problem I can not put into the 4 channels simultaneously in my sound card.
My sound card is:
Sound Blaster Live 5.1.

Someone could help me?

What specific model (i.e. CTxxxx or SB0xxx) is your sound card?
Are you talking about inputs (i.e. MIC/Line In), or are you talking about outputs?

Note that AC97 input is limited to two channels.

Good morning

We have managed to put the 4 channels to work at the end of this week.

Changed the settings in Speaker Setup, 2 outputs for 4 (KX Surrounder).

For those who want to know whether the model works, following the model of my Sarge 5.1:
Model: SB0220
