Looking for a guide to have separate outputs

Hello

I have always used the KX drivers (The 3534 until now) and i was wondering if it possible to obtain 2 complete separate outputs.

Is this possible where can i found any guide or something which could help me in configuring this way ?

Many thanks in advance.

Not sure what you mean by complete separate but depending on your card model, you can have three stereo pairs on a 5.1 card. You can route different sources to these outputs by choosing the device. For example, you could have say Winamp use wave 4/5 and send that output to the front pair then another media player say Foobar use wave 6/7 as output and send that to the rear pair. Is this what you are looking for?

It's just a matter of building a custom DSP, using the existing plug-ins like FX Bus and Epilog and adjusting the outputs in the mixer's corresponding page.

In fact, i wan't to have two Front separate outputs tu plug into a mixer.
The two outputs needs to be front speakers.

Any help for getting me this way is highly appreciated.

Russ is just super!Russ is just super!Russ is just super!Russ is just super!Russ is just super!Russ is just super!

Are you saying the you just want to send the same signal (front) to both the Front and Rear speakers?

If so (assuming that you are using the default DSP config), then just connect the fL/fR outputs of Surrounder (or the outputs of the timbre (or 10BandEQ) plugin if it is used in your DSP config) to both the Analog Front and Analog Rear connections of epilog in the DSP.

Configure Surrounder to use the "2.0 Simple Mix", or "2.0 Surround Mix" preset.

Thanks again for your response,
In fact i want to connect the two outputs into a mixer.

When i play a song on each Soundcard output and i listen to one Mixer channel, i should only hear 1 song In other words i am looking to make my SBlive considererd as 2 separate soundcards with the 2 SB outputs.

I hope that my description is now clear.

I will give a try what you explained above to see if this helps.

Once gain thanks for helping a beginner in the KX driver manipulation.

Ok, then you would want to do as Peate said in his reply...

i.e.
Clear the DSP.

Load FxBus.
Load epilog.

Connect FxBus 4/5 to the Analog Front pins of epilog.
Connect FxBus 6/7 to the Analog Rear pins of epilog.

Configure software #1 to use kX Wave 4/5 to send that audio to the front speakers.

Configure software #2 to use kX Wave 6/7 to send that audio to the rear speakers.

(or vica-versa if the toggle swap front and rear option is enabled in kxmixer).

Beyond the above, read the newbie guide on setting up the DSP in order to make more advanced configs: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/effects-...-your-dsp.html

I am not sure what you would use Surrounder for here... You should make separate configs (save and load as needed) for different purposes (i.e. use one config for use with your DJ Software, and another config for general use, etc).

You are right, i don't really need the surrounder, my cables where not correctly connected so i had a surround sound in the speakers.

But it really works perfecly, really amazing, sad that the Soundblaster live is no more produced.
