Adding An Outboard Effect Using KX with LiveDrive and Sonar

Hi all,

My computer is using Win2000, Soundblaster's Audigy with the LiveDrive, and version 5.10.3528 of the KX Drivers. I use Cakewalk Sonar 2.2 as my recording program.

I'd like to route a track from Sonar to an external effect and back to Sonar using the digital inputs and outputs of Sonar, but all I get is feedback or distortion.

How do I set the controls on the KX Drivers (and/or Sonar) to avoid a feedback loop?

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
