MIDI Keyb via USB and cubase VST 32..no input/sound???

I have this strange thing happening lately,
I always had my midi working well in cubase, being able to rec my parts normally etc. etc...

Now, It seems the prog doesn't recognize my keyboard anymore,
I set the output on Kx synth sb00090 as usual....
BuT i get no sound/input... the in/out leds are dead....

Can you help?

What could have gone wrong?

Pls give a me brief how-to to get everything back on track...

Sb Audigy Ex (latest drivers...)
PS I dont have the most most recent kx driver..I have 5, 10, 00, 3526

PSS If I update the driver will I have to set back all the parameters...load sf etc. etc. ?

Hi
Check if the midi input of your keyboard is present and active in the menu "Device/Device setup/All midi input" in cubase.
