Vista/Kx3539

Hello,

I just installed Vista 32 on my pc; i also installed the new 3539 driver.
If i load a clip i can hear the music provided i toggle " Swap Rear /Front Mode " in the correct position. The thing is that beside this there are no other controls that respond in the Kx mixer. I'm able to move every cursors and knobs as usual but the moving has no effect on anything.
I have installed a clean Vista Ultimate version of Windows on my C drive; all my music programs ( including KX ) were installed on a 2nd D drive. I reinstalled all my programs
on D:\ over the ones that were already there. So i re-installed KX 3539 over KX 3539 on the D drive.
Are there special instructions for installation under Vista like getting rid of any sound card driver installed with Vista ? Also the speaker test doesn't work.

The only sound i can hear when playing with the different volumes is a Low Machine Gun like sound... strange.

Hi,
I've asked about the speaker test not working with Vista. I've been said it's a known issue

Make sure the default device for audio playback in the Windows Control Panel is set to Master Mixer.

To be more specific, it was a known issue with 3538m (with Vista), so I am guessing that it is still the same issue with 3539.
