kx skin question (again)

Hello all, I am having a little trouble figuring out something with the skins. I want to make a few sliders into knobs via the 'type=' setting...but no matter what I do, the mixer crashes when I open it saying it caused an error in winocc.cpp. If I say ignore, the mixer still opens, but the sliders I changed to knobs arent there. How exactly do you make a slider into a knob?
