Airbuzz is on a distinguished road

exclamation kX & DVD-Audio

Hello,

in my Audigy 2 Platinum package was a DVD-Audio samples from Creative.

As I have a DVD-RAM and another DVD-R/DVD+RW recorder I were able to play the DVD-Audio (DVD-A) using the Creative Drivers and their DVD-Audio Player. Some weeks ago the Creative DVD-Audio Player messed up resulting in a BSOD whenever I start it (with DVD-A in it or not).

Today I switched over to the great kX drivers and whats missing (besides EAX is a hint how to play DVD-A 's with it.

For some reasons PowerDVD (24-Bit/96 version) + WinDVD (24-Bit/96 version) were never able to play the DVD-A, even with the Creative drivers.

My question is if the kX driver suite has some special support or player for DVD-A ?

For sure I cound reinstall the Creatice DVD-Audio Player and try it with kX driver but yesterday I tired it again with the Creative drivers and the Creative DVD-Audio Player killed the Audigy2 out of the System Device list in Windows 2003 after a BSOD .

unfortunately there's no support for DVD Audio at the moment
I doubt this will be fixed in the near future -- but I suppose third-party software (such as PowerDVD) will include additional codecs soon
