redocneXk Encoder and Battlefield 2

It seems that with the redocneXk encoder running when changing the Battlefield 2 audio settings from Software to Hardware this causes an instant bluescreen. I tried changing the settings to hardware THEN running redocnexk and I made it all the way into a server before the everything got laggy which resulted in another bluescreen.

Anyone else having problems like this?

btw CSS works great.

I seem to be having a similar issue with UT2k3 and redocnexk... I get bluescreened while it's starting up ("IRQ_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL" or something similar). Software audio works, but the available hardware modes do not.

I've only been running redocnexk for a couple of days, so I haven't tried it with too many other apps... iTunes seems to work fine with it.

UT2k3 uses OpenAL. From the sound of things, BF2 probably uses it as well.

I would gladly appreciate any thoughts or suggestions at this point.

Many users reported bluescreen with games using OpenAL. I don't know why this happens so that's why this was never fixed.
