Hi!
I wonder if I get better latency (for example in Sonar 2.2, my latency is >10ms using KS/WDM drivers and SB Live) by simply replacing my old SB Live sound card with an Audigy 2 (and of course in both cases using kX Drivers)? Second I wonder if it is possible to omit Audigy's up/downsampling from 44.1kHz to 48kHz (and back) by disable DSP effects(?) in the kX DSP? What I want is to make a clean hardrive audio recording in 44.1KHz (using analog line in and some soft synths for example) without any interference from the Audigy DSP, mix it in sonar and than burnn a audio CD-master... is it possible or is a sound card like Audiophile the only solution? Thanks for any answer in advance, Mike |
