Mute sound with Headphones

Back in the days when my live drive worked with my SB Live 5.1 Platinum (with Creative's drivers), I could plug my headphones into the front of the live drive and the sound would automatically mute.

Just wondering if it's possible to do this with the KX drivers. When I plug my headphones in the live drive, I hear sound, and everything works fine, but it doesn't mute the sound. Is there a way to make it automatically mute??

Mute Sound with Headphones

Is it now possible to have sound muted when headphones are plugged in. This is very important to me, I don't want to have to uninstall the KX drivers. Thanks for any help.
