CMSS and 5.1

Hi! I have a Creative Audigy Platinum sound-card and a 5.1 Genius audio system. I have the KX Project (3231) drivers for week and i am very content with the audio quality. I must mention that i listen to mp3s most of the time and i was very dissapointed with the CMSS option in the Creative drivers, that cause a very washed sound on the rear speakers. On the other hand, the kx project drivers handles perfectly that issue. The sound is very clear and sharp on all the 5 satellites (i have the 5.1 - copy option enabled).
I just want to know what is the difference between the Creative drivers and KX Project in this aspect? I mention that i talked (chat) with the Creative supprot people and i asked them if there are any applications/drivers that could help me with my issue (listening mp3s on all 5.1 speakers at decent sound) and they said 'no".

Shame!

there's no other driver that can provide a more decent sound than kX Audio driver.I've quit to use the Creative drivers as soon as I use kX.
