rolleyes Curious routing with Audigy2

Hello kX fans,

I own a Audigy2 since November 2002 and I was very happy when the Audigy2 support was introduced. I use 2 ASIO applications: Traktor DJ Studio and Propellerhead Reason.

So I installed version 3530 and I was able to use ASIO and the 3 outputs with my Audigy2. But I had to use this settings to hear something:

kxctrl -sptr 76 0 400
kxctrl -sfn0 20 600000
kxctrl -sfn0 24 14
kxctrl -sfn0 20 6e0000
kxctrl -sfn0 24 ff00ff00
kxctrl -sfn0 14 10c071
kxctrl -sfn0 18 b40

Evertything worked fine and I was able to use the 3 outputs seperately without 'overlaps'.

Now I tried the 3531, 3532 and the 3533b and I was glad to see that this kxctrl commands are not necessary any more. OK.

But now I can't use the 2nd and 3rd channel any more... Well, not really. When I select 8&9 e.g. I hear the music on the 3rd output AND on the main output. But on the main output it sounds like a flanger or something. I guess that there is a problem in the routing since 3531. I changed nothing and I tested it with ASIO and DS.

Well, then I steped back to 3530 (with Powerquest Drive Image) and the problem still persists! Was something changed on the card?

I would be very happy about any help of you!

Thanks.

perhaps you need to set 'Surrounder' effect to '5.1 Direct Path' mode
note that the routings were changed
read our 'routings guide' for details (on the site)
