Kx Driver 3532 alienates the stereo image ?

I have noticed this weird thing with the latest version of the Kx driver. After reseting the settings in order the driver to work properly and add my own "touches" the stereo image is fine with equal balance of the two channels but on the next reboot I notice that my right channel is sounding weaker than the left one. When I reset the settings the channels get equal again then I do not change anything (just incase I was messing something I shouldn't) but on the next boot guess what ? The balance is not right the left sounds louder than the right one.

Thaz all... I have gone back to version 3528 since it is supposed to be the most stable and the problem doesn't happen but with 3352 I can get my card down to 1.07 ms of buffer where as in 3528 I can only go to 2.13.

Thanks for a great piece of software.

All the best

is the change reflected on the main page?
is the 'linked' button active?
which slider gets distorted? wave or master?

As weird as it sounds there are no changes in the main page... the link buttons are ok so are the sliders... Everything seems ok, there is no "optical" problem, if there was one, I could track it down and fix it (I use the Kx drivers for a long time now so I have some knowledge on them). The problem happens only with sound infact every sound that comes out of the my card has this wrong balance between the 2 speakers. When I reset the settings everything okey on next reboot The same thing wrong balance.

Hope this helps but... I believe it will probably make things more complicated.

Thanks Eugene for the replay.

All the best.

if you open sndvol32 [Windows Mixer] and set its sliders to 'maximum', 'centered' -- does it solve the bug?
if you open kxmixer's 'Ins and outs' page -- do you notice anything of interest?

I have thought that too Eugene, it was one of the first things that poped in mind. I was like "got ya that must be it" but when I opened the windows mixer the balances were right so it is not that.

I can not recall anything weird on the in and out page... but I will check again!

Thanks again
