otard is on a distinguished road

problem with Center and subwoofer speakers

I have a Creative Sounb blaster Live 5.1. Model SB0060 and the 5,1 speakers (2 front, 2 rear, 1 center and 1 subwoofer). I have just intalled the lastest kX Project (3541)

I plug the jacks on the sound card like the guide

In Center- Speaker Setup, I config like that

and in INs 'n' Outs like

and then i test the speaker: 2 front and 2 rear are perfect but the Center and Subwoofer isn't.
In the test of Kx, I click the center, the subwoofer speaker is loud. i click the Subwoofer, the Center speaker is loud. (???)

When I open a music file, the subwoofer speaker sounds perfect, but the center is mute.

Could you help me to solve these problem?

Tkanks in advance

Russ is just super!Russ is just super!Russ is just super!Russ is just super!Russ is just super!Russ is just super!

It sounds as though (somehow) you have the Center and Sub wires reversed.
Verify all the connections between the sound card and the speakers (and anything in between, etc). Make sure all the connections to the sound card are fully inserted.

Beyond the above, try clicking on the "Reset AC97" button on the AC97 page of kxmixer.

I have changed the center and the sub wires. when I test, they're correctly. But when I open a music file, the sub is mute, the center sounds (but no bass).

Enable Bass redirection in Surrounder, and adjust the frequency as desired.

(Regular music is stereo only (i.e. has no sub channel), so you have to use bass redirection to derive sub from left/right).
