Vista x86 sblive driver erratic after kx 3538 install

Hi all.

I have a serious problem with my WDM driver for my SBlive 5.1.
After installing driver 3538, I uninstalled it, and installed the WDM-driver for Vista again. The problem is, that I have to mute and unmute the mixer to get any sound, and output for the center and back speakers are gone.
I've tried to uninstall the driver and deleted the driver-files,like vista asks,but no dice. I've also tried to install kX v3541 and uninstalling again, and even system-restore didn't help (!).

Anyone have a tip what to try?
