I must admit i feel it toooo... Few months early I used to play with hackintosh a while.. Since i write music I installed the Logic 8 and some other mac specific apps AND THE EXPERIENCE WAS INCREDIBLE... But because my E-MU 0404 PCI does not have any support for OsX i renounced with regret to this wonderful OS and back to old Windows.
While I experimented the osx I used the onboard card but with a tool like logic8 my cpu was..up on the sky

) so...with regret again..
Dear driver writers, if you could release some driver for this EMU 0404 PCI card a lot of people will be more than exalted!! Just search on the OSX dedicated sites to see a lot of people with this card and they cannot use this emu pci card!

OMG. Eugene you've really outdone yourself this time. I've been dreaming of the day I might be able to use my trusty 1820M with osx. Are you saying you expect to have proper 24bit support for it in the future?

tasty! 1820M with Logic 8 would be pretty dam cool. Any reason why this couldn't happen? I hate having to use my onboard sound when I boot OSX when there's a perfectly good 1820M on the desk. I know it probably won't happen in a hurry, but it great news in any case. I'm up for bug testing if you need it.

ok the 24/192 mode i've never used before on my 1010+0202, but 96k (20 or 24 bit) would be nice for some audio mastering stuff.

which kx-driver-version do you use actually?

my 1820m doesn't work with kx!!!! is there a trick, i didn't know!???

is it possible to run it with two pci-cards and two 1820m extensions in
one pc?

all lights of the emu-dock are burning...

I don't have that card, but KX installs with front and rear speakers swapped as default on the Audigy and Live! cards. I would imagine it would install the same on all cards. You can un check the box on the KX main mixer page, or try the other jack if equipped.
