Hi,

i have buy a soundblaster audigy platinuim ex for a verry good friend of mine.
He woul like beginning to make musik with a keyboard over midi and a cubase
program with vst instruments.
The soundcard works fine (verry good sound) and we can play the vst instruments with a latenz from 2 or 5ms . But the BIG problem is, that we
CAN NOT ! replay a recordet sequenz with the vst instruments and here sounds !!!
The midi data is recordet and when I play on the ""virtual"" keyboard in the
Edit funktion from Cubase the sounds are playing, but when I start play
no sound comes !!!!! On Cubase - Options - System - Audio is the ASIO emu
funktion on. With Asio DirectX usw. is not working verry good - the latenz is
to long but is this fgunktion on - the seq. is playing his sounds ?.
PEASE can somebody tells me, where is the way that we can record a seq.
with the vst instruments and play this with the option ""ASIO emu"" for a
small latenz. Is this NOT working (hmm - I can´t understand this, because I
buy the card from Soundbalsters homepage - there write "" a profi soundcard for music making.... "" is the kxproject Driver working ?? (on my sblive is VERRY
NICE - THANKS A LOT !!) or is there a trik with the orginal audigy driver to
record and makes playbak vst instruments and ""ASIO emu"" konfiguration ?
