New computer question

I'm looking at buying a new computer, and would like to know if the Kx drivers work using the Intel duo processor. I have an Audigy 2 ZS sound card. Also, should I go with Windows XP or Vista?

As far as I know you can use either Intel's or AMD's CPU's on system that has Kx drivers for sound card. And go for XP since Kx isn't made for Vista, but they might work on Vista. But I'm not 100% sure about that so I don't recomend it.

Yes there has been some issues with people using over 2Gb RAM with Creative's own drivers.

kx has had initial vista support since 3539 or 3540 i think - but check the forum to make sure

and quite a few users are reporting issues with more than 2gb of ram on a 10kX system, no matter if they're using kX or CL drivers
