MSI K9N2 Diamond with CreativeŽ SB X-Fi Xtreme H/W Audio Card and kx-project driver??

Will KX-project driver work on CreativeŽ SB X-Fi Xtreme H/W Audio Card which is bundled with MSI K9N2 Diamond Motherboard???

I want to buy it only because of sound card that's bundled with it, but same want to use kx-project on it. so I'm curious will it work or not?

Thanks in advance if anyone tested it already.

Here's link for MOBO:

kX drivers won't support the new XFI cards.

:-(((

OK, how can i use the posibility's of chip then without KX project drivers?
And next question, which drivers to use then so i can use that X-FI with for example virtual dj and hercules dj console and that it works normally?

Cause i've been having problems with my old audigy 2 card drivers and there were some irq incompatibility on windows XP, so i plugged it out, and ta-da windows works perfectly.

So i need something like that MOBO i wrote with that card onboard but with posibility like kxproject with audigy card.

Thanks.

If it's shipped with creatives drivers it should have the mode switcher that you can use to select the operating mode. I have the first gen XFI cards so I don't know much about those "lite" cards that comes with some mobos...

how do you mean with light card? it says on MOBO web page that it's extreme version of x-fi card.

its "lite" since its half of the size the card that i have, and half of the fetures...
I have Extreme Music X-FI. But if you need pro card i would say "dont get X-FI card", get some other semi pro card. Hammerfall has some good cards.

Bah

Actually thing is that i wanted to buy this mobo with x-fi only cause i have problems with audigy 2 on Asus m2n-sli deluxe crashing my xp with original drivers, but with kx project aswell, little less times of crashing, and when i uninstalled drivers and pull out card, it worked perfectly without.

That's the only reason i wanted to buy this mobo from MSI.
Anyway, dunno what to do now, but i want to use kx project drivers with virtual dj, it works fine usually, but not here at my place. :-(

kX does not support the Live! 24 Bit.

BTW: Preliminary support for some E-mu models (listed as unsupported on the above list) was added in 3542. Refer to the 3542 Released thread for more info.
