kX Mixer prevents hibernation/sleep mode
Hi
I have a Audigy 2Z and use kX Project drivers. When I installed XP I also installed a bunch of drivers and programs the same day, but when I set the energysaving for the hibernation I discoverd that it wouldnt go into hibernation as it supposed to. I did then go through my Msconfig and disabled everything there and restarted and then began to activate them again, one at a time. Hibernation kicked in everytime, until I came to kXMixer. So I found the "culprit", but I dont know whats inside the kXmixer causing this hibernation hindrance. Anyone have this happening to them, or do you have an idea of what setting that might cause this?? Thanks |

kx mixer uses 'kX Control' device to send/receive notifications to the device
when this port is opened (and it is a pseudo-MIDI port) Windows assumes the system is in use and does not enter stand-by or any other power mode this cannot be fixed due to Windows design |
