Cant get Dolby Digital to work on SB0222

As the title says i cant get dolby digital to work with the kx driver v3541, on my sb0222.

It worked with the original creative driver and ac-3 encoding off, and windvd 8 set to SPDIF out.

I use a mini-jack to coaxial from the SB Lives! (orange, digital out) to my digital reciever.

Any suggetions will be much appreciated

kX does not support AC3 pass-through with that card model, so your only option (with kX) is to have kX or WinDVD decode it (kX should auto-decode it when SPDIF is chosen as the output device), and use the analog outputs of the sound card (if you want 5.1, etc).

i.e.
You cannot use your digital receiver to decode AC3/DD, etc with that card model using kX (since AC3 pass-though is necessary to do this).
