Audigy 4, what is working ?
Hello,
I was just wondering what exactly is not working on with the Audigy 4 with Kx drivers on Windows xp ? My use will be more for playback than than for recording. Thanks. |

For basic playback it should be fine, I have an audigy 4 value in this computer I'm on right now and it works fine, listening to a CD as I type actually. I've never done any recording or DSP work on this system so I don't know the limitations with the A4 and KX if there are any. Seems I read it was "partially supported" or something, but if all you are doing is playback you should be fine AFAIK. I would imagine basic 2 channel recording would be fine too.
This A4 value is a very "limited" card anyways compaired to my Audigy Platnum (A1) with the Audigy Drive I have in my main system, as far as I/O goes ..... that's why this A4 ended up in my internet machine, It does sound Great tho' with the KX drivers. Nice playback card! ![]() Peace
