3533 and Live! Value Swap front and Rear

I tested 3533 and the Swap does not work. I get sound out of only one output.
When I went back to 3528, it worked again. Is there a way to get the Swap to work correctly in 3533 for Live! Value cards?

Also, on both 3533 and 3528, I record through AC97 and have it set to Mic. Problem is, not only does the Mic input record, but also what is playing in the background.
I have everything muted, so I don't understand why it is still recording everything else. If I WANTED to do karaoke this would be nice, but I'm not, and I am wondering how to fix this.

open 'surrounder' and make sure you have configured your speakers to the desired mode
[probably, '4.1' or '4.0']

'karaoke':
open kxmixer's 'recording' page and set 'wave' volume to zero

Ok, yeah, I noticed that the new version had a Surround setup that was not there before, I'll look into that when I reinstall 3533.

As for "Karaoke", what you said worked great. Thanks. Amazing the things we miss.
