no inputs help
hi everyone:
i have an EMU 1616m, iīve managed to take the sound out of it (at leasta through my headphones and main speakers. i havenīt tested the other outputs of my card deck, but im not worried about that -yet) what it really is getting on my nerves is that i canīt make any sound go in the card. obviously no sound in the inputs no recording. please help thanx |

Do you have the inputs enabled in the kX mixer?
Are you using XP or Vista? |

thanx for the replay. im using xp. im not sure im using the mixer properly dont know if the inputs are enabled. how can i see that thanx |

You may need to unmute the inputs in the ins/outs.
Right-click kx icon -> mixer -> (in ins/outs propertie's) -> unmute and increase the sliders for all the inputs there. The namings there are according to the live/audigy cards (ac97, cd spdif, ac97 2, z-video, etc), so ignore those names. (this applies to the default dsp setup) |
