no inputs help

hi everyone:

i have an EMU 1616m, iīve managed to take the sound out of it (at leasta
through my headphones and main speakers. i havenīt tested the other outputs of my card deck, but im not worried about that -yet) what it really is getting on my nerves is that i canīt make any sound go in the card. obviously no sound in the inputs no recording. please help

Do you have the inputs enabled in the kX mixer?

Are you using XP or Vista?

thanx for the replay. im using xp. im not sure im using the mixer properly
dont know if the inputs are enabled. how can i see that

You may need to unmute the inputs in the ins/outs.

Right-click kx icon -> mixer -> (in ins/outs propertie's) -> unmute and increase the sliders for all the inputs there.

The namings there are according to the live/audigy cards (ac97, cd spdif, ac97 2, z-video, etc), so ignore those names.

(this applies to the default dsp setup)
