Audigy 2 ZS - supported?

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73...a/c6547988.jpg
Is the card in the pic KX compatitble?

Audigy 2 ZS is said to be compatitble in the site but the one in the pic doesn't seem to have the EMU10K2, its says CA0102... on the chip.

Re: Audigy 2 ZS - supported?

It would be helpful if we could see the model number in the pic, but yes, it should be compatible with kX (CA0102-ICT is an EMU10k2 chip, and as noted on the compatibility list the A2ZS is supported).

Re: Audigy 2 ZS - supported?

A2ZS SB350 works great, except of a little AC97 noise floor on line in of my card, not confirmed by another user.

Confirmed-I have had this noise floor on all Creative Labs cards that I have owned.

Re: Audigy 2 ZS - supported?

No, I do not mean the ordinary -72db more or less white noise, I have a beeping, changing constantly in frequency and the intensity changes with the level of Line-In input slider. This is true for kX-Mixer in default setup and for ProFX. I mentioned this fact one year ago, but it seems that I´m the only one... The A2ZS i brought used from an i-net store...

Yeah - I have no such problems with my A2ZS (SB0350) - just the noise @ ~72db - if I amplify it - its just noise, no beeps or anything.
With Default plugins or ProFx.
