kxsynth via asio
sorry for my bad english,
somewhere in this forum, i've red, that there is a possibility recording soundfonts is cubase. maybe max wrote, if we rout the midi channels to different fxbus channels, and after connect to asio ins: it will work. i've tried it. first step was fxbus 2/3 (synthl/r) to asio 4/5, but cubase recorded only the right channel. i've tried this, because fxbus 2/3 are the default synth outs. in general: fxbus channels are mono channels, how can i record stereo samples (gm drums etc.) thanks kovzs

What you did works perfectly for me (live CT4760) "first step was fxbus 2/3 (synthl/r) to asio 4/5, but cubase recorded only the right channel. "

might be a problem of panning or a problem of soundfonts drivers?

Thanks for the replies
I use Cubase VST/32 and when I've tried the asio recording win98/se. I connected fxbus2/3 to asio Eugene wrote. Cubase recorded only the right channel, too. In the beginig of this week i get Windows ME, and I tried it again with the same DSP settings, The right channel only Yesterday i bought Windows XP and I tried it again. Now the stereo asio recording works Thanks again.
