SB Audigy Value Question

Hello there,

I've been using this driver for quite some time and I have to say this is the best sound driver I have used on my pc. I have a question which is related to the sound card of a friend of mine, my friend has this card: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Value Sound Card - High-quality 24-bit, 7.1 audio

would he be able to use kX audio driver?

Sorry, no. Audigy 4 Value and Audigy 2 Value are supported, Audigy Value isn't.

I have an original, old school OEM Audigy. Not a Value, not a Gamer, not an MP3+ etc. I tried installing the kX drivers and everything installed fine, but all the sound is extremely distorded, basically just screeshes, crackles and pops.

Am I out of luck?

Which driver package you have installed for the audigy? Which model number has your soundcard?
