Problem with volume control

Hi guys
One problem here. I've recently bought a tv tuner. Yeah, after some time spent on trying to have my sound, I've finally got it. I have a pilot of course, and a volume +/- buttons. Well, when i click on it, nothing happens. I have winfast PVR2 software, and built-in volume control is moving from + to -, but system doesn't react.
Also, yesterday I've got a new keyboard, where are volume control keys, which doesn't work either. As far as i can see, they don't affect system volume control bar and i really don't know why.
Is it a kX fault? If so, how i can solve that problem? Or there is now way to?
Cheers

Re: Problem with volume control

Back on Windows XP I used kX drivers with Leadtek TV card too and I got the volume control working using this plugin: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/effects-...e-command.html
Install it and then set the Audio-Out Control Line in PVR2 to "kX0/LineIn".

AUX is actually an AC97 based input, and AC97 is the top 2 pins of prolog.
You have it connected to AUX 2 of prolog, which are inputs on the DriveBay IO box that comes with 'platinum' versions of some sound cards.

Re: Problem with volume control

I don't remember where exactly it needs to be connected because I don't use kx drivers anymore, but it should be like Maddogg6 said. Top two links from prolog to xrouting I think.

There is this as well, which automates the stuff from that thread:

Re: Problem with volume control

One problem:
I cant choose anything for playback mixer or audio-out control line in pvr2.
More, using windows mixer doesn't affect volume in pvr2 too.

Any ideas how to solve that problem?
I have soundblaster live 5.1.
