Need help with Audigy 2 ZS
Hello from Germany
I have a Audigy 2 ZS which worked proberly with Win XP. Now I have installed weeks before Windows Vista 32 Bit. From that time on I have no good sound, especially 5.1 I have searched in the web and found the KX driver 3545 Beta. I have reinstalled my old drivers and after I have reboot, I installed the KX. No problems with the setup, but I don't hear anything. The device is SB350 (must be correct) and in the device manager is the Audigy 2ZS WDM, properties show 5 different Wave Out devices. When I launched the KX console, I can choose out 5.1 surround speakers but the test failed. There is no device. Can anyone help me, have I done something wrong? |

Re: Need help with Audigy 2 ZS
Well, you are not supposed to install the creative drivers if you are using kx drivers, that could be the problem right there. Uninstall both of them then use driver cleaner Driver Cleaner Pro v1.5 (freeware)
When all traces of the drivers are removed, then you can try again by installing *only* the kx driver. |

AW: Need help with Audigy 2 ZS
Thank's for the replay.
I have reinstalled the creative drivers and of course the kx drivers. After the reboot, I have installed the kx drivers. I check it again with the freeware tool. Hope it works. |

Re: Need help with Audigy 2 ZS
It seems, that it was an error to switch from XP to Vista - sorry for that.
