newer version of Win98 SE
I downloaded the 3541-version of the kx-drivers. I installed them on my computer and all seem to be fine. I restarted the computer, told windows, where the drivers for the soundcard are and after a new restart i got the message when the windowsdesktop poped up that there is a failure when windows wanted to start the kxmixer.exe. The dialogbox said that the kxmixer.exe needs a newer version of win98 SE. The kx-drivers doesnīt work. But i have the second Edition of win98. The version is 4.10.2222A. Whatīs wrong?

kX dropped win98SE support quite a few versions back. I dont recall what version last supported win98se...

Win98 support was dropped in 3538j, wasn't it? So you'd need to grab a version prior to that, such as 3538i, which you can get HERE.

The last one listed 3537 is listed as supporting 98SE. Hope that gets you sorted. |

Thank you all! I didnīt know that.
On the kx-site in the faq-section stands that kx-drivers runs under win98se (possible operation systems) but beneath on that side under minimum system requirements stands that win98se isnīt supported. I have just red that. Sorry, it was my mistake. |
