No Inputs OR Input with Echo

Hi, i got a problem with kx-drivers & cubase.

When i choose the "ASIO" as multimedia device in cubase control panel.. Then i got no input signal from my guitar..
But when i use "DirectX Fullduplex" instead of the ASIO i got my guitar signal, but then i got a echo instead..

How can i fix this?

I did have the same problem several months ago. But i can´t remember how i fixed it.

My computer:
WinXP.
EMU APS Soundcard.
KX-Drivers: 3529
