[Question] About Audigy Value & Soundblaster Live! 5.1 in the same system

Dear friends,

I find Soundblaster Audigy Value is unspoorted by kX project in Compatibility List.

Could I use Creative driver for Audigy Value and kX project driver for SB live! 5.1 in the same system? Creative driver can not accept Audigy Value & SB live! 5.1 in the same system; even EMU 0404 PCI....I can not use it with another soundblaster card with Creative driver.

I think Creative is very funny...User can not use analog input when he/she use spidf module; because spdif module use analog input connect.

I want to use spdif output to my DAC and use analog input in the same time for skype... Sometimes I want to test RMAA also need spdif output & analog input in the same time...

You should be able to run both cards with KX on the live! if your model is in the supported list. The audigy value will have to use the creative drivers. Windows can do this, but getting the two do what you want in your apps may take some figuring out though......

Hi Tyrsonswood,

I am trying it....If kX project does not support Audigy Value and do not use the same lib NAME with Creative. I think they may be work.^ ^
