Re: RECORDING DD5.1 In VISTA, possible?
Hi,
Yeah, I was trying to do the same thing as you. By "use ex_bs.exe" you the besplit program? At first using my Audigy 2 ZS in my main system that had Vista Ultimate 32bit and 8GB or memory. Didn't have much luck recording Dolby Digital 5.1 from Xbox 360. So, I'm building a cheap extra system with 4GB memory and will be using Windows XP Pro 32bit. I think the issue is that the Kx drivers don't work too well in Vista. All I could suggest is stick with Windows XP. Also, what program are you using to record the Xbox 360 Dolby Digital 5.1 stream when direct SPDIF recording is enabled in XP? |

Are you sure it's not just a matter of having an AC3 encoder/decoder codec for Vista?
