Master Mixer
I just tried that 64 bit beta driver here, but here's an issue.
I'm on Windows 7, it works wonderfully in Stereo mode with the Wave Out set as Primary, but I'm trying to get multichannel support. I've used this driver in the past, and I knew that I had to select "Master Mixer" but I can't select it as default, if I do, applications report that there is no audio out device. What do I do? |

Re: Master Mixer
Suffer. The driver is very much an early beta and Windows 7 won't be officially supported until some undetermined time after its release. I feel your pain though >_<

Re: Master Mixer
As far as we can tell, this is a known issue with Vista x64 (and 7) for 10k1 cards.
No multichannel till it's fixed, but you can get fine sound out of 2/3. Hopefully a update will happen soon. |

I'm pretty sure that once it gets fixed on Vista, the Windows 7 version of the bug will be fixed as well. I hope it's soon, I downgraded back to XP when I found neither of my sound cards would work with 4.1 sound correctly. |
