recording from FXBus 0/1
Hi all, sorry if this has been posted before, but I can't find this exact problem.
I'm using a Lex Nahumury type DSP setup for recording, working fine for external inputs , but trying to record my PC's internal playback (e.g. playing Rebirth and trying to record it in SoundForge) produces (records) fe-fe-fe-fe-fe-feedback-ack-ack-ack-ack of the signal. My DSP setup: FXBus 0/1 => Stereo Mix => k1LT Outputs (analog front & WinMM Recording) I presume the recorded signal is getting routed back into FXBus or something, but I can't figure out how/why... I must be doing something dumb. Thanks in advance! |

I don't know Soundforge but this sounds like you are trying to monitor that signal as you record it, is there a way to shut off monitoring?

YES! That's it - thanks very much.

Glad that worked for you..... Common mistake, not dumb at all.
