KX-Project-Noob: Need informations and help :D

Hi People, hi kx-developement-team!

Since this is my first post i will introduce my situation. Currently I am using the Soundblaster Live! 5.1 Platinum with LiveDrive. I often watch DVD's or listening to Music-CD's on PC (Loudspeakers: Boston Digital Media Theater). The Speakers incl. Subwoofer are connectet via Digital-Cable on Digital out of the SBLive!. But I am also a gamer

Now I heard about that kx-Project which seem not that bad - yeah - even better than the original Creative ones - according to many users.

My Questions:

Do they improve DVD-Experience in some way (for example 24/96 decoding from WinDVD)?
Do they improve overall-sound-quality?
Is it worth to give them a try with my current sound-rig?

Help would be very appreciated

If I am not wrong it is pretty much impossible for you to have 24/96 decoding on a SB Live! (chip limitation). But as for overall sound quality, to my ear, KXDriver is a leap and bound ahead of Creative drivers. I am not sure about KXDriver in gaming side as I don't really play games that often but if you are looking for great sounds for your music, I would recommend you KXDriver whole heartily. But that's just my take on this.
