why is your recording so confusing
I'm used to confusing stuff...I used to work in a studio..I halfway understand all this stuff...
yet, for the last 3 years, i CANNOT get kxproject to record on my audigy 2. I've clicked and routed everything I possibly can, but i cannot get anything from line-in to work. so what's the trick to get the rear line-in to record? what input is it actually mapped to? I mean, sadly the project kept the same unambiguous descriptions (Aux 2, Line In 2) that the original drivers did. |

Re: why is your recording so confusing
All analog inputs on the rear of the card are AC97 inputs. To record from an AC97 input (with the default DSP config). Unmute (and set volume to 0 dB) the AC97 slider on the recording page of kxmixer and select which AC97 input you want to use on the AC97 page of kxmixer (in the combo-box).
As for Aux In 2, Line In 2, etc, those are the inputs (labeled Aux In 2, Line In 2, etc) found on a Live/Audigy drive. Last edited by Russ; Aug 6, 2009 at 04:38 PM. |

Re: why is your recording so confusing
i would suggest you get profx plugins. the SRC or ADC makes the dsp much simplier
