Hi,
i have a SB0100 running with Windows 7 final and kx 3549 . Sound is okay in Stereo (2.1 - except the fact that the center speaker is also used, this shouldn't be?) But if i turn on 5.1 Surround on and playing a surround testfile (Free surround music download - 5.1 Dolby Digital with vlc) the frontleft speaker comes up with "front left, center, rear left and rear right" so everthing but front right center: everthing front right: everthing but front left rear left: everthing but rear left ![]() rear right: everthing but rear right... speaker are connected in the right way and were working with xp and the original 2002 driver I tried to play around with DSP tool a little but without a result. Do you guys have any idea what i'm doing wrong? Last edited by sucher22; Sep 9, 2009 at 08:50 PM. |

Re: 5.1 problems - Windows 7
There is a new driver version 3550. Try that.
http://www.hardwareheaven.com/general-...d-x86-x64.html You might also look into getting AC3 filter or k-lite codec pack which comes with the Classic player. I find it's better than VLC at playing surround files, but that's just my opinion. |
