trouble with surrounder and win7 64
the new drivers 3550 work great for me on xp, and seem to work ok so far on windows 7 x64 except the surrounder doesn't upmix stereo files anymore (copy front to back, or with the "on mode" which i have never really sued but recall it giving a pseudo surround effect) it's a fresh install of 7, no old drivers to interfere
any idea's? |

Re: trouble with surrounder and win7 64
Works fine here in Windows 7 x64 Professional, there's noticable "surround" effect with Surrounder+ set to "on" and I'm using 2.1 profile cuz I'm using headphones, couldn't live without this for my gaming needs.
Could send saved settings if needed. I used 4/5 and I think I rerouted something from the default DSP settings, only Wave 4/5 sounds really great for me, the mastermixer outputs slightly distorted sound at starting from average volume/bass levels and 2/3 is too silent while 4/5 is what reminds me of Win XP 0/1 the most but it's got even better treble and bass sound than in XP even.
