Re: Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 + Windows 7 x64
That is the default setting, so really there is no need to post it (just say it is the default).
In the DSP, right click and choose "Add Effect/Plugin" -> "Basic" -> "Peak" Connect the 3rd/4th pins of FxBus to the Peak plugin you just loaded. Double click on the peak plugin to open the GUI, and see if you see a signal there when playing audio. If you do not see a signal from the 3rd/4th pins, try the 5th/6th pins, and then the 7th/8th pins. Once you find the signal, disconnect (right click on pin and choose disconnect) the 2 pins (where you found the signal), and connect them to the top 2 pins of xrouting. |

BTW: Also make sure that Surrounder+ is configured for 5.1 with Surround On.

Nice!
Thanks!I had to switch Device for playing in Win options, but i found those "active" pins and connect them as you said. The Surrounder is setted to the 5.1 ON. How can i now test, if surroun sound works ok?

For surround sound from multichannel sources, you would use the default config (with Master Mixer set as the default device). I am not sure what is supported in Windows 7 (I have Windows XP (which does not have this issue)), so I am not sure what you can use to test it (maybe a mutlichannel wav file (using Windows Media Player) like the 6_Channel_ID.wav file here). |
