Sound Blaster Live 5.1, Windows 7 x64, SPDIF

Hi!

I just shifted to Windows 7 x64 Home Premium and I recognized that my Sound Blaster Live 5.1 didn't work automatically. I tried sound blaster's home page without any luck. No W7 nor Vista Drivers.

I have a digital 5.1 receiver which accepted DTS and DD on WinXP with SPDIF Pass Through enabled in AC3filter with the same Card and hw System.

So I found the kX project and tried installing and I got sound through the speakers. But it only works with ordinary stereo. If I check the SPDIF Pass Through in the kX mixer then my digital receiver indicates that is has lost the signal from the sender.

Any ideas?

Sorry, kX does not support AC3 Pass Through on 10k1 cards (e.g. any Live! model).

oh my, that was the worst case answer.
But thanks - now I know I don't have to look any further.
