SB Live popping under Windows 7 64
Kudos to this project. After a week of fighting with hacks to try and get the official Creative drivers working, I found you guys and my SB Live is kicking under Windows 7 64.
I do have one problem though, and that is intermittent popping when using the 0/1 output to create virtual surround. I'm using the workaround (listed in the "Surrounder+ not working" topic) of running FXBus2 and FXBus3 to the top pins of xrouting. It's not consistent, it comes and goes. I've disabled DSP plugins like Stereo Chorus and Reverb Lite. I've also made sure ACPI is enabled in device manager (after doing some searching on the forums). I have what is essentially the default settings aside from what I listed above. Any suggestions or do I just need to wait for a more Windows 7-friendly update? |

Re: SB Live popping under Windows 7 64
I have been noticing the same problem,
So if anyone here can any offer suggestions of fixes, it would be much appreciated. It would be nice to have an actual list of bugs, and issues like this that have been reported with Windows 7 64bit. It would save going through a bunch of threads, soundguy_99 |
