Win MM subsystem error
Hi,
My kX drivers have developed a Win MM subsystem error. I've tried reinstalling them but to no avail. I've also downloaded the new drives (3550) but it doesn't install, says there has been an error, right at the end of the process. Has anyone got an idea as to how I might fix this problem. Thanks for your time, Steve |

Re: Win MM subsystem error
What OS are you running, Steve, and which KX version & sound blaster model? Was the old version working at one time and now you get the error, or have they ever worked? (you say "developed" makes me think they were working, I'm just making sure) There are a few threads here on the forum dealing with this problem but they are quite old and dealing with the older drivers. Vista may have been an issue at the time also.
The 3550 drivers should install without an error, but you need to remove the old drivers first. Also a good idea to run a driver cleaner and registry cleaner before reinstall.
