Invert left and Right channel ?
hi,
i have a CT4830 + kx driver 3550 + win 7 x64. I have different output on the settings : Master mixer Wave out 2/3 Wave out 4/5 Wave out 6/7 I notice that the left channel comes from the right speaker, and the right channel from the left speaker. Is there a way to invert left and right in the drivers? Thanks! |

Re: Invert left and Right channel ?
Sure, just swap connections in the DSP.

euhh ... thank you, I'm just a beginner with the dsp ... I suppose I have to invert some connection on the diagram, but which one ?
thanks ! here is my DSP : http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/2456/ct4830dsp.png Last edited by jean019; Jan 28, 2010 at 11:00 PM. |

Re: Invert left and Right channel ?
Well it depends...
What type of speaker system do your have? (2.0, 5.1, etc) Are you using the analog jacks or the digital out? If it is 4.0 or greater, is it only 1 pair of speakers that has the problem or is all of them? Aside from the above, the speaker connections are on epilog. See the tooltip for each pin to discover what they are used for. Find the pair(s) that you want to swap, and trace where it is connected from (will be either Surrounder or Timbre). Disconnect the pins at epilog and then reconnect them such that left/right are swapped. |

Re: Invert left and Right channel ?
The CT4830 is connected to an 2.0 analog hifi amplifier (pioneer A-A6). I have 1 pair of speaker, connected to rear output, and rear output inverted in Kx mixer (as advised). I am using "Wave out 2/3" (others are deactivated).
As you told me, in the kx DSP, I inverted the two first lines (front analog left and right) between Timbre an Epilog and now it is in the good order ![]() Thank you very much !!
