headset
It seems I cant get my mic to work with the kx drivers it was working before I installed the drivers so I know it works I must be doing something wrong if you could help me out that would be great thanks

In kX Mixer, on the in/out tab, slide the ac97 slide down
In the recording tab, slide the ac97 recording slide up (and unmute) thas all :-) ''I DID THIS BUT IT WONT WORK |

can someone just please help me out all I want my headset is for Teamspeak.
I mean I'm getting now sound out of my mic I cant even hear myself but everything else seems to be working fin I'm running SB0090 Last edited by wiseman; Jul 5, 2003 at 11:24 PM. |

Check you audio mixer....see if the volume is up and that the mic is muted that way it wont loop....and then change to the recording audio mixer and make sure your microphone is unmuted. Then you should have sound. and you should be able to talk trough it.

I´m no expert. But why you have AC97 ins/outs slider down?
I have mine up. In mixer I have: Ins/outs - AC97 slider all up Rec - AC97 slider all down, muted AC97 - everything muted. mic selected. Works fine recording in Cubase. (but you should use line-in with a pre-amp if you want better quallity.) Maybe you need Rec sliders up too, unmuted. I really don´t understand the mixer! It just works this way for me. I use ASIO inputs in Cubase. Maybe that´s why I don´t need to have anything selected in Rec? Anyways, good luck! |
