Re: Help with an APS
Main thing is when I go into Sonar I get left, right or stereo mix..
I want to get my individual inputs on my APS so I can record each separately. Now as is I have tried the default DSP configuration as well as a few examples. In every example I have my guitar plugged into each input and I can not get a response from Any of them.. I know I am getting old.. and am very rusty but I don't remember having so my trouble with the original kx drivers.. I almost want to boot up an old windows 2000 machine I had it installed on to try and figure out what it looked like.. |

You may want to try the ProFX plugins, you can get them here.... NEW: ProFx (3538) Update Incl. MX6 and AC97 The bundled ones seem not to work so go with the ones on that thread.
I don't have the APS card and I thought I read you are on Win7... I don't have that anymore either so I can't be much help with specifics.....

Re: Help with an APS
Guess my biggest issue is that when I am in say guitar rig..
It shows kX 10k1 Audo (3550) generic (2 in, 10 out) 2 in? I should have 4 analog in plug the 2 digital at least.. then I have two on the back for outs.. a front headphones.. and the digital again.. Am I just out of luck because most users of kX these days are SB users? |

kX provides only two recording channels for non-ASIO interfaces. You need ASIO to get multiple inputs. And you need a 64-bit version of the Guitar Rig to access kX ASIO within 64-bit OS. And if you have problems registering kX ASIO see 3550 released - x86 and x64

Re: Help with an APS
OK.. that's 1 question answered..
Now the issue is getting ASIO working which it isn't. I am running sonar x64 and do not have kx asio listed. I just verified that kxasio.dll is not loading.. I was trying to get the reg keys for it in this post. Reg Export But no luck so far. no matter what I do it isn't listed in Sonar as well as I can not click on it from the kx control. I've followed every instruction I've seen posted and not had any luck. |
