Audigy ES OEM doesn't work in Windows 7
Hi, i have been using windows server 2003 x64 for a long time now, but due to a college project, i had to install windows 7 (x86), so i could use directx10.
so basically everything went ok, except my audigy in server2003, i used the softmod audigy es to x-fi, which worked really really great! however, in 7, i wasn't able to get any driver working windows drivers update downloads and installs drivers, but they fail to load. x-fi softmod installed, but failed to load official drivers from creative support don't install, because they say i don't have a compatible product kx-project drivers say the same: i don't have a supported product tried installed another 1 or 2 unofficial drivers, but none of them installs tried installing the official creative drivers without using the installer (device manager-> update driver -> selected the folder containing extracted files), they installed, but again, don't load... can anyone give me some help here? thank you in advance here are the technical references: Device Status (device manager): Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. Re: Audigy ES OEM doesn't work in Windows 7
I have not used windows 7 myself. It sounds to me with all the drivers that you have tried you must be a somewhat experienced windows user so perhaps you have already tried reseating the card or moving to another slot?...
