spdif only works with ‘digital output only’ checked

i attach pictures with my settings which DO NOT allow it to play via ORANGE outupt (tried other outputs but all od them are analog if the checkbox is unchecked).

if i check the ‘digital output only’ checkbox in mixer it starts playing via orange spdif (with current dsp config).

my goal is to process sound before spdif (through the modules you see in dsp picture) and output as spdif. the modules would not work in digital output only mode.

any thoughts?

* you might see there is a wire connected to the epilog 0 and 1 — these are my headphones

I am not sure that I understand your issue:
To use the orange jack for digital output on 5.1 models, DOO mode must be enabled (this is normal). This should not effect DSP processing at all (it should work the same way, except the analog outputs are muted).

i just disabled and enabled all the dsp plugins and it works now!
