applying differenct Timbre when Swap Front and Rear

I have a 2.1 speacker and a headphones.

I connect my speacker to rear slot, and connect my headphones to front slot of the soundcard.

I use the "Swap Front and Rear" to switch between speacker and headphones when needed.

When I use speacker, I need to open the timbre panel and adjust the treble to 9, but when use headphones, the default setting will be fine.

So my problem is, it's too trouble to adjust timbre everytime swap front and rear.

So I want to know, is it possible to auto-apply different Timbre when swap front and rear?

here's my surrounder:

Re: applying differenct Timbre when Swap Front and Rear

Just add another timbre plug-in on the rear speaker and adjust both separately.

you mean add a new timbre in DSP?

then how to allocate the lines?

The best way to do it is probably to just save and load your configs as necessary...

Re: applying differenct Timbre when Swap Front and Rear

Well there is a bunch of different methods you can use, but I do not think anything (apart from a plugin created for that (or a similar) purpose) is going to be any easier than loading a saved config.

e.g. (one possible alternative)
Load a second timbre plugin in the DSP (as suggested by peate).
Connect Surrounder's front outputs to the input of the above (so the same pins on Surrounder are connected to both timbre plugins), and connect it's output to the rear speaker connections on epilog.
Instead of toggling the swap front and rear option in kxmixer, mute/unmute the front and rear volume sliders on the Ins and Outs page of kxmixer as necessary.

i.e.
To switch from headphones to speakers: Mute the analog front slider, unmute the analog rear slider and set it's volume to zero dB.
